FAMILY TIME!

Been almost a month since my last post. What have I been doing you ask? Well mainly rushing to get the new issue of Left Turn magazine (issue #19) layed out, printed and now distributed. It looks very nice, with great articles on Iraq and New Orleans. It should be up soon here so check it out: http://www.leftturn.org/Magazine.aspx

To be completely honest, if it weren't for the transit strike, the magazine would've probably been late! So thanks MTA workers indeed! (FYI, if you want to read a great few commentaries on the strike from new yorkers plus a bunch of commments of solidarity from all over the world, check out www.ideasforaction.org, another blog--tryin to be as good as this one!)

Anyway, here are the flicks from the past few holi-days up at Sea Ranch--fairly bougie vacation spot along the Pacific coast off highway 1. A solemn, waves-crashing-on-large-jagged-rocks kinda place...a think-deep-thoughts-but-don't-jump kind of place :)

So this is a picture of a footprint but it looks like it's popping up out of the sand. Pretty nuts. But if you focus on the shadow around the heel area, then look back at the foot, it will actually look like a footprint!
